Ingredients
- 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 cup (6 ounces) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (if omitting, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour)
Steps
- pre-heat oven to 375
- Combine in small bowl:
- flour
- baking soda
- Beat in large bowl until creamy:
- butter
- sugar
- brown sugar
- vanilla extract
- Add egg to large bowl and beat well
- Gradually beat in small bowl contents to large bowl
- Stir in chocolate and nuts
- place 1/4 cup dollops on ungreased baking sheet
- Bake for 11-13 minutes until golden-brown
- Let cool on baking sheet
